On our Historical Bali Tour with B2K Epic Adventures, you'll journey back in time to Bali's densely wooded forests and experience traditional cultural performances along the way. You'll encounter amazing sights, green meadows, and exquisite ancient carvings adorning the island's cliff walls. This tour will immerse you in the history of Bali's ancient kingdoms, particularly in East Bali.

The tour starts with an early morning drive to visit Kertagosa, the Royal court of the Klungkung Kingdom, followed by a visit to Goa Lawah, a Bat Cave Temple. Next, we will meet traditional salt farmers before heading to Tenganan, a traditional village in Bali. As we near the end of our journey, we'll visit Tirta Gangga, a Water Palace of the Karangasem Kingdom. After lunch, before returning to the hotel, we will explore Taman Ujung Water Palace.

Ujung Water Palace was constructed by the King of Karangasem, I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, who holds the title Anak Agung Agung Ketut Karangasem Anglurah. This palace is privately owned by the Karangasem Royal family. It was initiated in 1909 by Anak Agung Anglurah, designed by Dutch architect van Den Hentz and Chinese architect Loto Ang, along with Balinese architectural involvement. This palace evolved from the Dirah Pool, which was established in 1901, and was completed in 1921. In 1937, Taman Ujung Karangasem was inaugurated with a marble stele inscribed with Latin and Balinese scripts and texts in both Malay and Balinese. The palace was almost entirely destroyed by the eruption of Mount Agung in 1963 and an earthquake in 1975.
